This is one of a series of abstract and expressive paintings that was inspired by a trip to Central Australia, where the colours of the land were so vivid. The oranges and red of the rocky gorges, the pinks and whites of the sand, stood agains the green of trees and grasses that made a home in the harsh landscape. This exciting painting is full of marks and texture, and many layers of paint. It is one of two in this series.
