This is one of a series started on site ain the East Macdonnell Ranges, near Ross River, in central Australia. It was finished up at home in the studio. It is painted in a loose, expressive and abstracted style, capturing a rocky gorge scene with scattered trees. It is framed in a lovely elegant white platform frame.
