Rain on Rosie’s Farm was inspired by my friend Rosie who has taken up farming. This piece imagines the Australian countryside surrounding her farm after the rains have been. Instead of doing a rain dance for her and other farmers, I have done a rain painting. I have seen these colours before in the Australian bush and so this is a painting of my hope to see them again.
I use the acrylic to create texture and detail. This art piece has a modern white frame and is ready for hanging.
