I am very lucky to live close to Skeleton Creek. The mouth opens into Port Phillip Bay at the Cheetham Wetlands and meanders through a few suburbs in Melbourne's west. A few times a week I walk around my area, and just a couple of weeks ago, took the photo that inspired this painting. The early morning sun was behind me and it looked so peaceful. I hope that the quietness and tranquility has been represented well.
