Flowering tree trunks are rare, but they occur in the rain forests and in my painting the visiting honey eaters are getting their fill of nectar from them. Next to them are the tendrils of a flowering passion fruit, an imaginary setting in a lush, tropical paradise.
The painting is framed in a simple wooden frame, complimented by a white slip.
