This painting was inspired by a walk from Bondi to Coogee, and this was the view approaching Tamarama. It is a beautiful coastline with many little bays, hugged by the most amazing limestone rock formations. I loved the contrast of the shaded bush against a bright beach beyond, making the aqua blue of the ocean and sandy beach pop.
