The Greater Bilby is just about the cutest animal on the whole planet in my humble opinion.
The biggest threats to this sweet little guy are cats and foxes (no surprises there) and agricultural land destroying their habitat. Efforts are being made to bring these little poppets back to the mainland but they are really no match for the keen hunting ability of feral and domestic cats. If one more person decides to keep their cat inside tonight then a bilby gives a sigh of relief.
