One of the most wondrous things is the play of light at early morning in the outback. This image is from a place called Kings Canyon in the Northern Territory. The hot days begin with striking light and strong shadow that brings to attention all the delicate and fine leaved of the plants that are in the area away from the river beds edge where the gums and more dense shrubs hug.
