“Dance of the butterflies” captures nature’s choreography in the garden. The garden is alive with insects and their graceful weaving through blooming flowers.

As a child I lived to go to the beach no matter what the weather. A child can enjoy a windy day as much as a calm still one. Watching the waves crash on the beach with every intention of enjoying the day no matter what.
I decided to paint a child on the beach depicting the joy of being able to paddle in the surf. The red bucket symbolising the happy and playfulness of the child.
