I wanted to use a really soft calm palette for this still life study with a more sketchy approach to the brush work. I like to use underpainting to leave peeping out in snippets and add another layer of texture. I'm really enjoying painting on panel. This work would look great left unframed or pair one to suit your interior when you get it home. A lovely piece for the kitchen or hall.
