Viewing the lake from an aerial view during the wet season, all sense of scale is lost in the infinity of the changing salt landscape and its surrounding environment. The surface with whorls of brown water bleed and fuse with the creamy white of the salt β with crimson colour created by microbes staining the water as it infiltrates the lake, is just something to behold.
