The poor flying fish was given wings by nature and evolution, so that they could escape the enemy below. Over the eons of time, the enemy above has also become a problem.
I enjoy using impressionism with the true-life birds and fish to show the deep blue sea and waves above. The red-footed booby and flying fish use these two realms to their advantage.
