Calcata was abandoned and stood empty for decades till the local artists revived the town and established bohemian community there. Now it is known as a very charming and authentic place with many small art studios.

The oil painting is painted on a wooden panel, I prepare the panels with marble dust Gesso and paint with the highest quality oil paints, which enables the best final result. All my paintings are also framed as shown in the picture
