HMS Endeavour was a British Royal Navy research vessel led by Lieutenant James Cook to Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia on his first voyage of discovery between 1768 and 1771.
I have always been fascinated by these old tall ships from the past, I started painting this one a year ago and finally decided to finish it.
Oil painting has been painted on wooden panel, I prepare my panels with marble dust Gesso and I paint with the highest quality oil paints, allowing for the best results.
