My version of Cape Byron Lighthouse, NSW
Literally and figuratively, Cape Byron outshines every other Aussie lighthouse. With an intensity of more than two million candelas, it's Australia's brightest navigational aid. I left the road out of the painting and filled with wildflowers instead.
The oil painting is painted on a wooden panel and the base is coated with marble dust gesso. All my paintings are framed in my studio.
