Boab Tree has it’s symbol of life and positivity. Aboriginals used the giants Boab trees as shelter, food and medicine. Every boab tree is unique, it has it’s own character and personality as you would expect of such an ancient creature. I wanted create mystical Boab tree on sunset, where there is twilight between day and night and tree gets it’s mysterious appearance.
Oil painting has been painted on wooden panel, and under coated with marble dust gesso. Paint work has been finished within gloss Damar varnish.
