This work is a playful celebration of the beauty found in Australian Native Flora and Fauna. In incorporating collage elements from high end fashion magazines, it also hints at the delicate balance between natural and man made environments. Painstaking mark making alludes to the peace and meditative calm that can be found in taking time to complete tasks.
Apart from a few swatches of collage, it is predominantly watercolour and ink on 300gsm watercolour paper. The piece is unframed, but will fit in a standard A3 frame.
