Lake Mungo - Wind, Salt and Sand
Mungo National Park located in South Western New South Wales is a part of the renowned Willandra Lakes Region. The global importance of the Willandra Lakes Region was recognised in 1981 when the region was added to the World Heritage listing.
In this work I have endeavoured to use the landscape of Lake Mungo to express the feeling of desolation through the constant winds blowing the white sand across dry lake to the dunes beyond.
