I love the depth of colour and texture that you see in gum tree trunks, with rivers of sap that curl and splinter in fascinating transparent colours, the marks the little creatures make crawling and eating the bark, curly, rough or smooth surfaces and so many beautiful colours blending into one another. A few branches of gum leaves floating down over the trees trunks.
