Artwork Description

Australian natives, mixed with peony blooms.
There's a long story to explain this painting...but here's the short version; I was given an assignment to paint a 'messy bouquet' in a dream - Yes seriously! I was stunned, confused and woke up thinking: A what!? It became a challenge and bit of research on the subject revealed: a messy bouquet was an actual thing!
- Grateful thanks for the inspiration, Chantel Lauren, designer of the beautiful Mae Gown and to Tyler Rye for his stunning photos.

Artist Bio

Julie lives in Christies Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. Her paintings celebrate nature’s radiance. As a sensitive, sensory soul she connects with colour vibrations and patterns. Communicating from this zone ideas flow, images, symbols and visions can stay for months, even years arising again and again, until they simply have to be manifested into the world.
Time spent on Kangaroo Island as a child instilled a love of the ocean and an appreciation for nature’s wild pristine beauty. Best memories include: swimming in aquamarine clear water, exploring rock pools, discovering marine life and sheltering from the hot summer sun under the casuarina trees, feeling totally at peace listening to the summer breeze whistle gently through the leaves. Several years ago she decided to listen to the artist within and follow an instinctive yearning to paint big bright canvas's and is delighted to be finally honouring her deepest calling.

Julie enjoys working on commissions and bringing visions to life; paintings that may speak to your heart and soul or allow you to reminisce about the past and recall a wonderful place you visited.

Mediums used are acrylics and textures.
