At the beach, where I used to visit with my late nana, there were lots of tiny crabs and hermit crabs crawling around from sand hole to hole, paddle to paddle.
As a curious child, I dug up the sand they hid as soon as possible and tried so hard to spot them somehow.
Unfortunately for me, fortunately for them, I never achieved success.

- This artwork is created on delicate Washi paper with Sumi-ink and medium-sized calligraphy brushes specially sent from Japan, finished with my Gagouin (calligraphy pseudonym stamp).
