Ready to hang stretched canvas; 91cm x 119cm 'Diving for Gold' is an original and vintage paper, detailed hand cut collage on a black acrylic painted ground. A vintage monochrome toned woman in a sparkling gold (individually placed 'scales'?) swimming costume diving gracefully into a sea of autumnal toned butterflies (including an elusive single gold butterfly hiding amongst the others) this body of work is a favourite with followers on my Instagram page. The work talks about finding joy and peace in small moments -'diving in' - and grabbing those moments, regardless of how fleeting.
