From my series of impressionist, abstract works, inspired by a rock pool. An abstract focus on colour and summer. A calming and joyful glimpse into an ocean scene in a pixelated view. Playing with layers of scumbling, and organic mark making. Inspired by the techniques used by the impressionists, taking me back to the techniques taught at Art school. Playing with pattern and colour to create a work that is mesmerizing, calming and meditative. Thanks for looking.
