Acrylics on canvas , lots of texture, and gloss varnish. This is a whimsical , abstract group of cats. They may just be in a bad mood, or maybe they had a rough life. Each one has it's own story and personality, and I really enjoyed seeing them emerge from the canvas. The colours are still there, but are perhaps illuminated by moonlight, since cats are nocturnal creatures. Perhaps if you turn the painting upside - down, the cats turn into flying foxes. Just kidding !
