Watercolour on Arches watercolour paper. I did this for an art competition. One of the themes was mythical creatures. Since I love Mermaids anyway, I decided to do the challenge, and really enjoyed it. One of the things I love about watercolour is that with only a few colours you can mix a rainbow. There are many techniques to play with , including wet on wet ( dampening the paper, then dropping watercolour onto the wet paper), and colour mingling . ( mixing the colours on the paper). Frame not included.
