Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This is the view I see every day. I can’t remember the number of paintings I’ve made based on this view, which makes me ruminate on what it is I love about it. I think it is the infinite number of ways that the light touches the trees and the glimpses of sky, bush and water caught through the negative spaces between the twigs and branches.
This painting is on stretched canvas and can hang as is, but it would look really lovely also with the addition of a white or timber floating frame.
