The Sentinel, steadfast and strong, stands silently watching as the day ends and the sun sinks slowly into the west.
Looking out from my back verandah one evening with all of the trees silhouetted against a sunset sky inspired this painting although I decided to do just one stylised tree instead of my forest :-)
