'Tell your secrets to the wind 2' is an exciting addition to my new body of work. In this new series, I'm including figures for the first time, and incorporating aspects of my familiar landscapes and abstracts, so you can see a meaningful progression in my work. This timeless lady, is in a simple dress, caught by the wind, as she walks across an open grassland. She's strong, independent, powerful and feminine. She's resilient as she faces the obstacles and trials represented by the wind. I've used an impressionist painterly style that allowed me to emphasize the dynamic movement of the dress, hair, grass and sky. The title comes from the quote 'Tell your secrets to the wind, but don't blame it for telling the trees' by Khalil Gibran.
