All the things you love in my paintings, but with a more abstract take on the landscapes of our beloved Australia.
Using a bright colour palette I depicted a vast Australian landscape, experimenting with different textures and colours.
This painting incorporates all the different styles I have worked with, to bring together an exercise juxtaposing, yet an ever complimenting piece.
And as I was drawing this painting - in my own bubble - unaffected by the rest of the world, I imagined myself as those birds, and what kind of a scene they see. A vast lake with darker rocks in the back. Beautiful flora as it comes with its different shapes and sizes. The perfect blue sky and all the other animals (dingoes and budgies) co-existing with the earth.
