Still Life with Fish was inspired by Paul Sezanne's artworks. Contrasting tones, colours and broken lines are the key features of this painting. Every time I paint a new artwork I try to capture the beauty created by the fascinating light and time in the moment.
The correlation between the colours and the absence of unnecessary details bring forward the most important parts of this artwork, the dramatically contrasting folds of the red fabric and the ceramic fish, which represents life.
