Reverting to a more subtle palette, I depicted these beautiful Proteas and Banksia, right from the Central Coast; winterly Australia. Drawn on a light, textured background, the delicate flowers juxtapose such a theme, as they pop out of the canvas with their soft and delicate pink, red and sand tones.
