Sometimes I just want to paint for the sake of playing with the brush and the paint. I usually attack a painting that I'm not keen on and just paint over it, hence I build texture and the best way for me to work with texture is to do something from nature, specially the water. I lovely the fluidity and working loosely with a big fluffy brush. This is an impressionist painting that is quite rough up close but very striking at a short distance. It does leap off the wall and reveals every little frustration and the absolute pure joy I felt whilst painting it. There is no reference for this piece, just my imagination.
