Welcome to Kathy Bierma on Blue Thumb :)
Born in Adelaide, and currently working from her studio in Perth, Kathy Bierma's work focuses on earth/ocean and portrait inspired themes. She works in a variety of media including water-soluble oils, acrylics, inks and watercolours.
Kathy graduated with a Masters in Art Therapy, Bachelor of Visual Arts, Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching and Certificate of Graphic Design. Her work is in private and commercial collections, she has exhibited in multiple exhibitions across Australia, facilitated arts workshops in a variety of media, and been involved in collaborative and community based art projects and murals.
