Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This pair of crested cranes are the star of the show in this piece.
A feminine piece with amazing curves, the fluorescent and metallic paint in this original work draws the eye and immediately holds the attention of the viewer.
Crested cranes (aka crowned cranes) are the national emblem of Uganda. They are meant to have an amazing courtship dance and this image is meant to convey the beginning of the dance.
The plain black background accentuates the colours within these birds.
This painting is currently unframed but a frame (which can be arranged) will finish it off. The edges are currently black and it is ready to hang as is (there is a hanging wire already). A timber frame will tie her in to a warm interior. But a clean black frame would also look quite modern.
Please contact me for options.
I have also painted a similar style bird that could make an amazing pair - Bruno the Macaw or trio if also paired with Pretty In Pink. Both other paintings are painted in a similar style and are the same size with black background.
