A Landscape of Memories 2 seeks to remind the viewer of people, places, events and experiences which have shaped who we have become today. In a world that is ever changing good and bad, I felt it was important to highlight the important things in life that are sometimes consumed and forgotten. A colourful depiction of multiple layers of paint surrounded by white textured paint enhancing the viewers outcome. In my arts practice my primary focus is always on abstraction, colour and the positive relating to the everyday.

I use acrylic paint with numerous layers on top of each other, resulting in some areas of the work a textured raised surface. Then it is gloss varnished for long term protection. All stretching and framing is done in Australia.
