A Beach House In The Blue Mountains" was inspired by legendary Australian country music artist Graeme Connors!
The track is a cheeky, satirical take on climate change, rising sea levels, and climate anxiety. In the lyrics, the narrator decides to take an "each-way bet" on global warming by building a beachside escape way up in the safety of the Blue Mountains.

The evening Sun going down on the Three Sisters and hitting the right hand escarpments and valley with the Beach House sitting snugly away from the in coming “Climate Change”🤪

This is a large textured oil painting on professional stretched canvas taking over four months to complete. This painting has been in my mind for many many years and what a pleasure it was to paint this magnificent painting.

The painting beautifully captures the rugged, ancient energy of the Australian bush. The rich texture on the rock faces and the glowing, golden light breaking across the tree canopy gives the piece an impressive depth and a true sense of place. The Three Sisters and the Blue Mountains are iconic, and the impasto technique does a wonderful job of translating that signature weathered, sandstone texture onto canvas.

A huge thank you to Graeme Connors for giving me permission to name this painting “A Beach House in the Blue Mountains” The painting is indeed one of a kind and one of my best.

The painting will be professionally packed and freighted.

There will be approximately two weeks delay in freighting, allowing a small patch of the textured paint to dry.
