Artwork Description

Resin on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

Kimberley Reflection is purely from my imagination. It depicts the bright orange/ochre escarpments reflected down from the sun lit Escarpments to the shallow water of the waters edge. The escarpment is slightly textured. The Escarpments radiate the heat of the day into the sky. The sand used is sand that I collected early this year on Kangaroo Island. The painting was first painted with a layer of acrylic paint with the resin colours pored on top. Colours used Acrylic: Blazing Cloud, warm yellow, metallic copper, clear day, antique gold, marshmallow yellow, burnt Siena, Cobalt. Resin: sky blue, tangerine, brushed, tidal blue, acquamarine, titanium white. This is a one off piece.
