This piece all began with one single dot, which sits at the intersection of the highways that mark the place of my nana, Jay Creek NT. From here, I wanted to create vibrational circles as it's from her that we come from, and it's from her experience, love and knowledge that has led us to where we are. From there, these animals and a face started to appear on their own. I believe this piece was pure intuition that led me down the path that needed to be taken to create this simple, yet very meaningful piece of acknowledging our elders, and their path and allowing that to inform our present and future generations.

Knowing that our elders and the land on which we are living are overlooking us as we live our lives, gives comfort to the challenges we may be yet to face, knowing we are never truly alone.
