The iconography speaks of our environment, and the bold red matt glaze is taken from Vanadinite, a rare, naturally occurring mineral usually found in beautiful red hexagonal crystals. The contrast of the raw white paper clay against the red glaze interior is simple yet profound.

Vanadium is one of the leading industrial ores used to store renewable energy and is found in Australia among other abundant reserves of critical minerals needed for clean energy technology.
