The original artwork was a painting by my partner and Bluethumb artist Tony Tomkiw. He was not happy with his initial artwork and sanded it back to paint over it. But I loved the colours and textures which surfaced underneath and decided to turn it into a different work of art altogether. I added ink to the painting to add to the texture, then I added charcoal to give the pebbles their three dimensional shape and painted the surroundings pristine white.
