This painting is inspired by Gustav Klimt's painting, The Three Ages of Woman. In this rendition thee mother and child are against a silver background and cloaked in a colourful cloth fabric on which there are glued pink buttons for a decorative effect, hence the title, Cute as a Button. The painting itself is on a round board, which mirrors the shape of a button.
