I am interested in the way the figure is constrained within the frame of the canvas. The lines on the clothing accentuate the movement within the piece and give it a graphic quality with contrasts with the realism of the skin tones.
This painting shows a woman hugging her knees. It is a painting about introspection and inner peace.
