Yearning to get outside of the four walls I feel I've been stuck in for weeks, Down by the water was my attempt at getting back into the nature I adore so much. There is nothing more peaceful than being down by the water, surrounded by grand old trees as they change their colours and staring into deep reflections as they dance across the surface. This is my happy place and while I can not get deep into nature right now, painting scenes like this remind me just how beautiful it truly is.
