Artwork Description

This work captures an Australian Galah in flight by Sydney artist Leni Kae, exploring a moment of movement and release. Known for its soft pink and grey plumage, the bird carries a gentle contrast—both grounded and light. Part of Leni’s ‘Animal Spirit’ series, the painting uses fluid watercolour and line gestures to evoke the galah’s expressive nature. The work invites a recognition of expression, spontaneity and change, where movement becomes instinctive and an reflection of personal freedom.

42 x 59.7cm on paper. Requires framing.
