I love bees. We all should. I have been making artworks about bees for over a decade now, and have dedicated three solo exhibitions to them. Bees are the sweet, sticky glue that holds our ecosystem together. They could be considered the most powerful creature on Earth. This bee is from my last (and final) edition of embroidered bees, where I’ve embellished very delicately hand-painted linen with machine-based embroidery.
