After 6 months of no painting due to 3 breaks in my pelvis, I was a little afraid that I couldn’t paint any more…. so I’ve started back in with a free form abstract;

At a time when man has landed craft on Mars, I felt this was appropriate. Imagine being up ‘there’ in space and looking down on another planet. This might be what you see.

The focal point of a room should be something that is instantly visible upon entering the space.
Blues from inky through to baby blues, with touches of green, pink, rust and cream this is a statement piece 102 cm square and will certainly provide you with that focal point.

Quality Acrylic paints, oil sticks and gold leaf have been used on a lightly textured, stretched canvas.
