I saw this beautiful dancing magpie in our garden and it was not shy at all posing for the camera. We often have them visit and they are pretty friendly. I just had to paint this one that enjoyed taking the spotlight. It reminds me of the song 'it's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right' lol I added some ladybirds to dance along with her and a few pretty daisies to brighten up her grass stage. Hope she brightens up your day! Painted on a 30 x 40 cm canvas and sprayed with a mat varnish for protection.
