Fairy Wrens are beautiful, charismatic little birds that I really enjoy painting. Capturing their gentle nature I have painted this cute couple in Matisse acrylics on a high quality wooden pine panel, warp resistant and kiln dried. Using high quality Matisse paints the background is black putting the limelight on the couple, but you can still see the slight natural grain of the wood. It is sprayed lightly with a matt varnish for protection. This artwork will suit any small wall space and definitely one for the bird lovers.
