Artwork Description

Oil on wood, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

This painting was made after a visit to the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia following the recent bush fires during a particularly devastating summer. It was upsetting to see so much bush had been burnt yet there was a lot of new green growth that had begun to sprout showing signs of regeneration and hope. The next day I went into my studio and created this abstract painting from what I saw, felt and experienced.
