This painting is No.9 of 11 in my 8 moons series.
The original idea was to paint a vintage caravan in what looks like another world, whilst researching I had the idea to turn that vintage caravan into a bakelite radio. When I was searching for images my daughter pipes up, 'Are you going to paint a toaster on that?'. This then led to the toaster and the rest of the painting grew from there. From the utensil trees in the distance, to the tea cup drones.
